1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text). When you submit a booking request, we collect the contact details and event details you provide (event date, guest count, occasion, and any message to the hall owner).

2. How we use it

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your logins
• To connect your booking requests with the relevant hall owner
• To let hall owners respond to your booking requests
• To allow platform administrators to review and approve hall listings

3. Who can see your information

Your booking contact details (name, phone, email, message) are shared with the hall owner of the specific hall you request a booking from — this is necessary for them to respond to your request. Platform administrators can see booking and account records for moderation and support purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored in a managed database and is protected in transit via HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored or transmitted in plain text. Authentication uses short-lived access tokens and longer-lived refresh tokens.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting the platform administrator. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated booking history from active use.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of essential, httpOnly cookies to keep you signed in. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
